This glow is enhanced by the sunlight coming in through narrow rock slits. The spectacular columns of light at midday are breathtaking. Often you just want to stop and marvel at this bizarre wonder of nature that transports us every few seconds to another world that doesn't look like this.

The vocabulary "bizarre" and "surreal" take on a new meaning here. Entering Lower and Upper Antelope Canyon is like entering a magical world. In each canyon, countless abstract motifs are waiting to be captured in photographs. Both canyons consist of 40-foot-high rock walls, some less than three feet apart. The colorful and softly polished sandstone sculptures in all shades of red flow around in gentle waves.
